We have some big news to share: Emil Nuutinen joined Gosoft as a co-owner on 4 June 2026. It's a milestone for us: Emil steps in not only as a co-owner but as the person leading our AI development — strengthening the very core of what makes Gosoft Connect different and setting the direction for where it goes next.

Exactly the right kind of AI

Gosoft Connect is built on one idea: AI that actually knows your business, grounded in your own content instead of guessing. The technical name for that is retrieval-augmented generation — RAG — and it's the area Emil has spent years mastering.

He brings deep, hands-on expertise in the AI that sits at the heart of our platform:

• Retrieval & semantic search — he has built multilingual semantic search over hundreds of thousands of documents, the same class of technology that lets our bot find the right answer in a customer's pages, docs and FAQs.
• Multilingual question answering — he has fine-tuned language models for question answering across languages, and even advanced the Finnish-language state of the art with research on translating question–answer datasets while preserving their structure.
• Production retrieval at scale — he has designed and deployed QA/RAG APIs for large-scale text retrieval, and evaluated the full spectrum of language models to pick the right tool for the job.

In other words: the thing we care most about getting right, Emil has already done at research and production scale.

A builder, end to end

What excites us most isn't only the research pedigree — it's that Emil ships. Alongside the AI work he has built and run real systems: web applications, Linux infrastructure and developer tooling, across Python, Go and Rust. He's comfortable from the model all the way down to the server it runs on, and he's done it in environments where reliability isn't optional.

That combination — a researcher's depth and a builder's pragmatism — is exactly what takes a product from "impressive demo" to "trustworthy every day."
